Welcome to my Web album for a pilgrimage to Spruce Island, Alaska that I took in September, 2005 with two friends, Thomas Reese, a coffee roaster (Walla Walla Roastery), and Colby Kuschatka, a professional photographer (Kuschatka Imaging). As you probably know, Spruce Island was the home of Saint Herman of Alaska. The Brotherhood of St. Herman (St. Herman Press | Pilgrimage Photos) has two sketes there, one for men on Spruce Island, and another for women on nearby St. Nilus Island.
