1-110 * The Trapeza and main ?gathering place? for pilgrims on St. Nilus island, on which is located St. Nilus Skete. This is a women's monastery, a dependency of New Valaam Monastery (as is the men's Skete of St. Michael).

Comment: Walking along the planked path to the convent's main house and trapeza. Like St. Michael's Skete, the convent has no telephone and limited electricity from solar and wind power.
